Welcome to the first edition of the Children's Centres Newsletter!
Over the past few months we have developed an 'online offer' for families to enjoy, whilst our Centres are closed. This offer includes; weekly live sessions, Videos sent on WhatsApp, Monthly Topic Workshops and Activity Sheets. For further information, please see below.
Since the lockdown begun and the Children’s Centres are closed, the staff have really missed seeing all of the families and their colleagues; so they have put together a video to share their poem and messages with you

What does the online offer include?
Weekly live sessions
Children's Centre practitioners and Early Years workers are running some weekly live sessions. To see what's on, please see the session list.

Activity videos sent via WhatsApp
Children’s Centre Practitioners and Early Years Workers have been producing videos with a variety of different activities, including song time, story time and activities for you to try at home. Topic workshops in August
Separation and Anxiety Workshop - Thursday 13 August, 1.30 - 2.30pm
Preparing Your Child for Nursery Workshop - Thursday 27 August, 1.30 - 2.30pm

Timetables
All families living in the London Borough of Hounslow, are welcome to join in with sessions accross the three areas of the borough. However the timetables below have been split into areas, as some of the regular attending families have asked to see familiar faces from their local centres!
Central Area (Cranford, Heston, Hounslow & Norwood Green) - Monday 3rd to 31st August 2020
East Area - (Chiswick, Isleworth & Brentford) - Monday 3rd to 31st August 2020
West Area - (Feltham, Bedfont & Hanworth) - Monday 3rd to 31st August 2020

International Friendship Day - 30 July
For International Friendship Day, Children's Centre staff painted stones and left them in parks around Hounslow for you to find.
What to do when you find a stone?
