NHS HC

Heart Month

Did you know that almost 50% of adults in the UK have high cholesterol?

February is Heart Month and Heart UK are encouraging everyone to take action during this month to know and understand their cholesterol levels.

We all need some cholesterol in our blood to stay healthy, but too much can lead to serious health problems such as heart attacks and strokes.

High cholesterol is very common, but most people don't know they have it because it doesn't usually have any symptoms. That's why everyone should have a cholesterol check.

Did you know we test your cholesterol during an NHS Health Check? The check also looks at your overall health to assess your risk of developing certain heart related health conditions. Why not contact us to see if you are eligible for an NHS Health Check and find out your cholesterol levels?
