We’re halfway through the year, summer has officially arrived and it's not just the long-awaited sunshine that's putting a smile on our face. We can finally announce that we have a brand-new Wellbeing Hub!
This month's newsletter has all the details about our hub opening as well as upcoming workshops and community events taking place throughout June - read on for details!
We’re on the move!
This month we will be moving into our new Wellbeing Hub!
Situated within the Swan Walk shopping centre we hope this space will be an inviting and central place for people to drop-in and access our services.
To celebrate we will be hosting an open morning to show off our new hub, with lots of games, prizes and drop-in appointments available. Head towards Wilko and you'll find us directly opposite!

Men's Health Week
Men’s Health Week aims to bring awareness to health issues that affect men disproportionately.
Did you know that on average, more than one in five men die between the ages 16 and 65, and more than two in five before the age of 75.
Often, the cause of early death can be be prevented with lifestyle changes.
If you are looking to improve your diet, drinking habits, activity levels or weight why not speak to our team to see how we could help you?

Congratulations to our WOW graduates
This month we are shining a light on one of our recent WOW graduates who completed the 12-week course and lost over 5% of their body weight! Here's what they had to say about their experience:
‘As a man you go onto this course thinking you pretty much know everything about what you should be eating and how you should exercise, it's just common sense. However, every week you discover something you didn’t know and are given the science to affirm why you should be making that change.
The group you attend with are all in the same boat as you, so you don't feel singled out in any way and you kind of feel like one big team all with the same challenges and concerns - which helps. Some weeks I put on a little, but there was no "telling off", just gentle encouragement to keep going and to look at the longer picture which has worked for me.
If you want to lose weight, get healthier, change how you see food and exercise without feeling miserable, then I can 100% recommend this course!’
Next WOW course starting in September
Learn to Run
