Stress Awareness Month

Stress and poor mental health are one of the biggest public health challenges that we’re facing. Stress awareness month highlights the impact ongoing stress can have on us mentally and physically.

None of us are immune to the stresses and demands of everyday life and sometimes we can allow ourselves to become overwhelmed.

Understanding how we address stress is essential to keeping us healthy and strong.

If you are feeling overwhelmed with stress our Advisors can help point you in the right direction for help. Whether this be a route into exercise, local support groups or improving your diet. Call our team to see how we could help.

*Please note we are not able to offer support with mental health conditions*

Bowel Cancer Awareness Month

Bowel cancer is a broad term for cancer that begins in the large bowel. This type of cancer is more common in people over the age of 50, but it can affect anyone of any age.

Bowel Cancer UK is a great website to find out more information, in particular what symptoms to look out for. You can also screen for Bowel Cancer with a home test kit which is sent out by your GP if you are over 50.

Mary How Trust also provide screening for anyone over 18 in return for a donation. This is available at their clinic in Pulborough.
