We've got plenty of brand new Wellbeing courses starting in January, from WOW face to face workshops to a variety of exercise classes. Our aim is to help you find something to challenge yourself, feel healthier and more importantly, enjoy.

Our 90 Day Men's Health Challenge is back! 

After the success of our first ever Men's Health Challenge in September 2019 we are excited to be running the challenge again in January 2020, and this time we think it's even better than last time. 

If you’re looking for a healthy, sustainable and fun way of getting into shape, join our 90-day challenge to see if your team can lose the most weight and become the champions!

There will be prizes for the winners and runners up (worth over £200!), and weekly spot prizes will be up for grabs for completing additional challenges.

Not only will you receive support and top tips from our team of friendly advisors you will also get to sign up to free exercise for the duration of the challenge - a deal too good to miss!

New WOW Courses

If you want to create better eating habits and maintain a healthier lifestyle then our Weight Off workshops are for you! 

We have brand new face to face and online courses starting in January 2021.

Our informative course will be delivered over 12 weeks and is a mixture of one-to-one coaching and small group sessions.

Starting off with two private one-on-one coaching sessions with the course leader, covering introductions, expectations, barriers and triggers.  You will then go on to join the 10 weekly group workshops that cover topics such as healthy eating, exercise, stress and sleep.

Exercise To Music

Dance your way to fitness with a our NEW Exercise to Music Courses.

This is a ten session course for beginners aiming to support and guide individuals through their first steps to getting active or getting back into activity. Each session will involve an aerobic section (aimed at getting your heart rate up) as well as a strength and toning section. 

Sessions will be led by a qualified instructor who can tailor all exercise to suit your needs. She will contact you before the course starts to find out more about you and let you know what to expect.

Pilates Jan

Pilates

Stretch into January with our NEW Online Pilates course. Our 4 session taster proved to be very popular so we want to give you another chance to try something new.

Pilates is a form of exercise that focuses on balance, posture, strength and flexibility. It's suitable for people of all ages and like all of our Get Active courses is aimed at people who are taking their first steps to getting active.

Classes will be held online via Zoom and prior to the first session the instructor will get in touch to find out more about you and talk you through what to expect.

You don't need any special equipment, just comfortable clothing, a bottle of water and a mat or towel.

Learn To Run

If you want to do more than just walking, why not try our Learn To Run course next year? A 10-session beginner's course that aims to encourage and give participants the confidence to start to run.

The sessions are a mixture of walking/brisk walking and jogging.There are no expectations about where you should be at by the end of the course as everyone is different and progresses at different rates. Our aim is to create a friendly and supportive environment to get you moving at your own pace, whether that's walking, jogging or a mixture of the two, and more importantly we want you to enjoy yourself!

You would need to be able to commit to attending a minimum of 8 out of 10 sessions.

One to one support

Our team of friendly advisors are still on hand to offer tailored one-to-one support to help you achieve your health and wellbeing goals (i.e. losing weight, getting active, emotional wellbeing, stopping smoking). We can offer this support over the phone or via video call and when guidelines allow this can also be face to face.

Cervical Screening

We know many women find cervical screening a difficult test, and Covid-19 has made it more challenging for some, but attending regular appointments is vital to making sure you're safe and well.

Cervical screening is not a test for cancer, it's a test to help prevent cancer and it's one of the best ways to protect yourself from Cervical Cancer.

Whether you're due for a screening or need to make an appointment and want to find out more information or get support, you can find plenty of information on the NHS website and from charities such as Jo's Cervical Cancer Trust:

Living Well Programme

Are you living with a long-term physical or mental health condition? Over a series of sessions the online ‘Living Well’ course could help you learn new skills to better manage your condition.
