We would like to say a big thank you to Horsham Men in Sheds who revamped our smoothie bike which was in need of a bit of TLC after a lot of community use!

Following some blood test results Alan was referred to Horsham Wellbeing by his GP for a Prediabetes course. Alan met with a Wellbeing Advisor and discussed how to make healthy lifestyle changes such as losing weight and getting more active. Here's what he had to say...
"Following our first meeting, I reviewed nearly every aspect of my diet and eating habits, as well as exercise and fluid intake.
I set up a detailed daily record of everything I ate or drank...this all took on board the very useful advice about 'good' and 'less good' foods and drinks, calorie sources, sugar, GI, food wheel, balance etc.
I'm very pleased that after three months my figures are all in the right direction, and in particular that my chart shows that I have lost over 10 kilos - and in a way that I now know that I can sustain.
I was originally referred by my GP following two results of concern in my blood tests. At the recent re-test, one had gone down to 'less worrying' and the other back to normal. So this was very reassuring from my point of view, and to know that my efforts have worked!
I may well pop in to see you later in the year......just to get my further improved readings!”
