International Day of People with Disabilities (IDPWD)

  • Wavelengths: A Dyslexic Perspective
IDPWD is a United Nations-led day of recognition which takes place every year on 3 December. It aims to celebrate and recognise the value of the disabled community and enable others to learn from the experiences of disabled people. This year, we are celebrating the challenges, barriers and opportunities for people who live with disabilities, in the context of a global pandemic. In his blog, Adam talks about his experience of being on a different wavelength from others and how it is part and parcel of being dyslexic for him and many other people who are neuroatypical. Read Adam's blog
