Pre-election period guidance
Ahead of the general election on Thursday 4 July 2024, there will be restrictions on the conduct and communications from government departments.
The pre-election period starts from midnight tonight so for the next few weeks the HMCTS Update will only include essential operational updates. We will only release new editions if there are operational updates to share.
