Family packing car, with TRIP logo in front

Hi there,

Heading out for a road trip over Easter? Before hitting the road, make sure you’re ready for the journey by doing your Safe T.R.I.P Checks!

By taking a few minutes to check your vehicle and plan your journey, you'll help prevent breakdowns and ensure a safer journey.

What are the Safe T.R.I.P Checks?

T - Top up on oil, fuel and screen-wash before you set off.

R - Rest for at least 15 minutes every 2 hours.

I - Inspect tyre pressure and tread.

P - Prepare for weather.

We want you to have a safe, stress-free journey this Easter, so make sure to do your Safe T.R.I.P Checks before setting off!

Top Tip for April

Keep a pair of sunglasses in your car during spring. Low-level sunlight at dawn and dusk could catch you out and make driving challenging, but packing a pair of sunglasses in the car can help with the glare. We also recommend using your visor in low sun to improve vision.

Safe travels and enjoy your Easter break!
