Bikertek campaign information

Hello,

This month we want to tell you about Bikertek, our safety campaign targeting motorbike riders.

While motorbikes represent only 1% of vehicles on the roads, they are involved in 20% of collisions. So, we launched the BikerTek campaign in 2019 to improve rider safety and since then, we’ve seen a 17% reduction in serious motorbike collisions.

Bikes repair easier than bikers Our custom-built motorcycle containing medical body parts sits at the heart of this campaign. These medical parts are the same as ones used in surgery after a biker is involved in a collision.  We take our bike to events and biker cafes all over the country and as visitors try to spot the medical parts, our biker staff get the opportunity to turn the conversation to safety and advanced rider courses. Campaign announcement
