Project update
From 27 April, we have updated our working hours. This extension of hours for earthworks activities has been agreed with the planning authority.
Our new working hours are:
- 7am – 7pm Mondays to Fridays
- 7.30am – 4pm Saturdays
Across the scheme, the team have now worked over 760,000 hours.
This month we began our piling works at the Gloucestershire Way crossing. In June, we’ll be starting piling at Stockwell Farm bridge and to construct the environmental bridge at Shab Valley. Piling is a common construction technique that uses a specialist drilling rig to install foundations, posts and walls. We’ll also be installing drainage and excavating on the A436.

Access for residents and emergency vehicles will be maintained and diversion routes have been approved by Gloucestershire County Council. Please plan ahead and allow extra time for journeys.
