Please donate to your local food bank and other forms of community food support whenever you can.
Giving is easy, simply place items into collections boxes in your local supermarkets or visit our website for details of where they operate and how to contact them.
Shorter dated items such as UHT milk and orange juice, or household basics such as toilet rolls are really helpful.

Did you know you can also support the PO9 food bank via the Havant Borough Community Lottery.
Are you a landlord who can help us to assist those facing homelessness?
If so, please contact us at Havant Borough Council to see how we can work together to provide homes for those who need them. We can offer support and assistance to both landlord and tenant to ensure your tenancies run smoothly.

Your support is greatly appreciated during these unprecedented times.
As online shopping increases so do the number of boxes being shipped. If you receive gifts by mail this year, fold them down to save space in your recycling bin. Alternatively, why not decorate them and use them as a gift box first.
Not every box is recyclable
Whilst cardboard is the most popular item to be recycled – there is one box we don’t want – and that is your pizza box.
Grease and toppings from your food mean that these cannot be recycled and must go into your rubbish bin.
For more information on what you can recycle visit the recycling pages on our website.
With the autumn-winter season now in full swing, it's important to know what to do in the event of a flood.
Surface water flooding can happen for a number of reasons, such as heavy rainfall, blocked drains or overflowing rivers or streams.
Information on what to do in a flood can be found on the government's website.
There is also plenty of advice and guidance on the flooding webpages on our website.
