The award-winning summer scheme offering free activities for secondary school-aged children is back for its 18th year.
It's open access for young people born between 01/09/2009 – 31/08/2014 and offers free outdoor activities and workshops at various locations across the borough.
Activities take place every Tuesday and Thursday from 23 July to 18 August, and include a climbing wall, paddle boarding and kayaking, giant inflatables, cooking, magic tricks, circus skills, bike maintenance, swimming, ice skating, crafting, art, jewellery making, face painting, reptile handling and more!

Bookings are open for HAF summer holiday activities - free for children who receive benefits-related Free School Meals.
Open to reception to year 11 children, a number of different schemes are running across Gosport. They offer fun activity and social clubs along with a healthy meal.
Up to 16 sessions can be booked for each child over the summer, some paid-for activities also available for children who aren't eligible.
 From beautiful beaches and rich maritime heritage, to free events, festivals, splash parks, sport and leisure - there's so much to enjoy in Gosport in the sunshine.
Whether you're looking for somewhere to entertain the children over the school holiday, some outdoor adventure or simply a great down out, there's plenty to discover right on your doorstep.
Fancy trying pickleball? You can play for free on the two pickleball and four tennis courts at Privett Park. The courts need to be booked online in advance through the LTA website.

Have your say on two proposed changes to the draft Gosport Borough Local Plan 2042.
A six-week consultation is open until 1 September, looking at changes to two specific areas:
- Removing the Rowner policy. Instead future priorities for the area will be identified by the resident-led Pride in Place Rowner programme.
- Removing the leisure allocation for the Criterion, to provide greater flexibility for the best future option for the site.
Once additional feedback is received, we will submit the Local Plan for independent examination.
Earlier this year the Government set out plans to reorganise local councils across Hampshire.
From April 2028, Gosport Borough Council, along with Portsmouth, Fareham and Havant will become one new, larger council delivering all council services to residents. The new council will also include the parishes of Clanfield, Horndean, Rowlands Castle and Newlands.
This is a decision made by Government, and the councils involved are already working together closely on how the new council will operate.
While this sounds like a big change, it's important to know that nothing is changing yet, and your important council services will continue to be delivered to you, just under a new council name.
The Gosport Community Skips will be ending in September, following a review of the scheme. The scheme has helped residents dispose of bulky household waste closer to home, but costs the council an additional £160,000 a year to run.
A report looking at options for the scheme found:
- No evidence it reduced fly-tipping
- More than half of visitors arrived in vehicles, including large vans, so could instead use the household waste recycling centre (HWRC) in Gosport.
- A large proportion of waste was rubble
- There were no checks to make sure people using the skips were local residents
After reviewing options, councillors voted to end the scheme. The funding will be reallocated to important services such as environment and enforcement and consideration to a proportion going towards savings the council needs to make.

The Council Leader has also asked Hampshire County Council to review its HWRC in Gosport and the option of walk in, which its other three sites allow.
The remaining skips sessions will run fortnightly for five Saturdays, all at Walpole Park, from 9.30am-11.30am.
