Gosport has been named a winner in the ‘Future Skills’ category of this national awards for our digital inclusion and skills initiatives that help local residents and businesses.
The 2025 Let's Celebrate Towns award also came with a £20,000 prize, which will help us deliver more community-based initiatives to help improve people's digital skills.
Following approval last January to progress the delivery of this bike share scheme, a consultation is now underway on the proposed bike bay locations.

The fact-finding drop-in sessions will take place in September and October at venues in Fareham, Havant, Cowes, Marchwood and Eastleigh.
Solent Freeport wants directors and business leaders to take part in the roadshows, which will focus on skills, international trade, innovation, decarbonisation and business growth.
