The council has been shortlisted for the 2025 Let’s Celebrate Towns Competition for its Digital Peninsula Programme that is providing digital skills training for residents and business.
The awards ceremony is on July 16 at the House of Lords with the winner awarded £20,000 to be used to support existing or new initiatives.
BNI Gosport is a structured business network that has recently started and meets weekly on a Tuesday morning at The Alverbank Hotel.
Every member and visitor gets to talk about their business and attendees pass qualified referrals to other attendees. There is a charge to attend each face-to-face meeting and there is an additional annual charge to become a BNI member.
A member of Hampshire County Council’s Skills and Employment Team will be at Basepoint Gosport on Wednesday 2 July from 10am-12pm for 1-2-1 advice sessions. There is no need to pre-book but it would be appreciated if you could confirm that you will be attending by emailing: skills@hants.gov.uk
