Work has officially started to build new affordable homes for Gosport families.
Gosport Borough Council is creating 15 new council homes in three locations: Stoners Close, Glebe Drive and Wheeler Close. All three are currently underused former garage sites considered ideal for the new homes, which will improve the appearance of each site.
Hoardings are in place at each site and construction will take around a year to complete.
The project will provide vital new homes for people and families who are currently on the housing register, and help tackle the shortage of affordable local housing.
