Free advice and mentoring is available to small business owners and those considering self-employment or in the process of starting a business.
Gosport Borough Council has a partnership with Business South to offer its Enterprise South service, which provides a wealth of support and guidance for the borough's many entrepreneurs.
On offer is expert, independent one-to-one advice and mentoring to help you with business planning and to undertake a business review.
 Following the success of Gosport's Christmas market, a new bespoke monthly market is arriving this Spring to further boost Town Centre trade.
Running on the last Saturday of the month and starting in March, it will include craft stalls, various types of food and drink, as well as live entertainment and free children's activities.
Kicking off on Saturday 30 March will be an Easter market, packed with Easter-themed fun and games. It's thanks to a partnership between Gosport Borough Council and Nest and Anchor, underlining the council's commitment to increasing footfall to Gosport's High Street and supporting businesses.
The regular Tuesday and Saturday markets has also had a revamp - alongside the regular traders are former favourites like the meat and egg traders, with new additions lined up for the Spring.
 Calling all local creatives! The Imagination Refinery in the town centre's High Street is a place where creatives can participate in craft workshops, classes and drop-in sessions, and showcase their hard work on offer.
It also offers freelancers free coffeeshop style co-working space to work and have meetings in.
It's led by the Makers Guild and funded via the council’s High Street Heritage Action Zone to help support Gosport's local creative industries and attract footfall to the High Street.
Construction of the new bus station as part of the Gosport Interchange redevelopment has started.
Work has been completed on the new taxi rank, passenger set-down and short-stay parking facilities which are now open for use.
A new shelter for the taxi rank will be installed in late February, whilst the final landscaping works will be undertaken later this year.
