Keeping Children Safe in Education 2022 PUBLISHED
Keeping Children Safe in Education 2022 was published on 20th May. As part of Gloucestershire Safeguarding Children Partnership’s ongoing commitment to Gloucestershire Schools through Traded Services, we are pleased to announce there will be two short webinars (you will only need to attend one) to go through the changes and what action you now need to take.
In response to the newly published update to the Government legislation ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’ the Safeguarding in Education Team will be running two briefing webinars on Wednesday 22nd June 2022 at 11am and Wednesday 6th July 2022 at 11am for education professionals from settings who have bought into Traded Services for Safeguarding in Education and Early Years Settings for 2022/2023. The purpose of these sessions are to look at:
- What is changed within the new legislation
- What you need to do next
Please note that this session is for schools/colleges that have bought into Traded Services for Education and Early Years Settings.
Details of how to access the webinars have been emailed out to all Traded Service and Early Years settings.
