The Standards and Testing Agency (STA) has published statutory guidance for assessing and reporting the national curriculum at KS1 and KS2 in the 2021/22 academic year. The STA has also published guidance about access arrangements for pupils participating in 2022 KS1 and KS2 national curriculum tests plus information about how schools can reschedule KS2 tests.
School-led tutoring is one route of the National Tutoring Programme. State-funded schools and academy trusts, with pupils eligible for pupil premium, receive a ring-fenced grant to source their own tutoring provision to support catch-up.
