Comberton Greenway

The public engagement programme kicks off today (4 July)

The public engagement programme kicks off today (4 July) with people encouraged to share their views on the options for the designs for the Comberton Greenway.

The route will connect Comberton with the city centre via Coton, and the Cambridge University West Campus, with a spur to Hardwick.

Engagement on the Comberton Greenway begins today (4 July) and closes on Friday 29 July, with a public drop-in event at Comberton Village Hall on 8 July and a virtual event on 20 July.

To find out more and share your views with us please visit the following website: - https://www.greatercambridge.org.uk/Comberton-GW-2022

Your feedback will be considered as part of further design and planning work and engagement with landowners along the routes.

The engagement we are launching today kicks off a rolling programme across the 12 Greenways routes in Cambridge and South Cambridgeshire.

This will give communities an opportunity to shape how each link will look, aiming to provide better walking and cycling connections, and cater to equestrians where appropriate.

From next Monday (11 July) we will be launching similar public engagement on the Haslingfield Greenway route, linking Haslingfield and Grantchester to Cambridge.
