Update to the Common High Priority List: Russia Regime
Together with our international partners, the UK has identified items that Russia is using in its weapons systems, which we have published as a list called the Common High Priority Items (CHP). It is composed of Western items critical to Russian weapons systems and its military development. They include electronic components such as integrated circuits and radio frequency (RF) transceiver modules and items that are essential for the manufacturing and testing of the electronic components and circuits retrieved from the battlefield.
The list has been now been expanded to include 5 new codes related to Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines which are crucial to the manufacture and maintenance of vital military equipment.
All companies in the UK and their overseas branches need to be aware of the risks of circumvention and increase their vigilance and due diligence to avoid sanctioned goods reaching Russia.
