Launch of Consumer Duty firm survey

We've launched our Consumer Duty firm survey, which is being sent to a sample of small and medium-sized firms to understand the progress they're making in implementing the Duty.

The survey is carried out on our behalf by Ipsos Mori. The results are anonymous and the FCA will not be told what any individual firms say.

If you’re one of the firms selected to complete the survey, please do take the time to provide us with your feedback. We’ll use the survey results to understand how prepared firms are in meeting the implementation deadline of 31 July 2023, and how we can best support firms to embed the Duty effectively.

Sector specific webinars

We’re hosting two sector specific webinars this month to help firms understand our expectations and prepare for implementation.

• Credit Union and Community Development Finance Institutions (CDFI) webinar on 23 March at 14:00. Registration is via our website.
• Payments and e-money webinar on 30 March at 09:30. Registration is via email.

The webinars will focus on the implementation timeline, key elements of the Consumer Duty, our expectations, and how the Duty applies to firms in these sectors. There will be time to take questions.
