Are you looking for things to do during the October School Holiday with your family? 

We have rounded up a few of the events, activities and Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) sessions taking place over East Sussex.

Defiant Sports Halloween Party

Get ready to embrace the spooky season with Defiant Sports' Halloween activities! 🎃

Join their Halloween Party on Monday 28 October 2024 for a fang-tastic experience featuring music, a costume competition, bouncy castle, nerf firing range, party games, and more. Don't forget to dress up for a chance to win prizes! 🎉

£8 pp. (Under 8s need a parent-carer). 

If you prefer a more relaxed vibe, book your spot for the Halloween-themed Boccia session on Wednesday 30 October 2024. Expect a fun-filled session with decorations, games, and prizes suitable for all ages and abilities. 👻🕸️

Buzz Active - 90% off sessions during October half-term

Kids travel for just 50p this half term across East Sussex with Brighton and Hove Buses

There’s lots to be excited about on the buses this Halloween!

This Halloween half-term, children under 19 can travel for 50p within East Sussex when accompanied by an adult or concessionary pass holder. 🚌

Pumpkin Carving with Holding Space, Eastbourne

Are you looking for the perfect half term activity?

Drop in to The Holding Space hub on Eastbourne’s high street for some fun and spooky pumpkin carving and crafting!

For £5 per person, you'll get a pumpkin and carving equipment included, and some seasonal arts and crafts too. Suitable for the whole family to get stuck into. 👻

Apprenticeship Graduation Ceremony 2024

Have you completed your apprenticeship between 1 November 2023 and 1 November 2024? If so, don't forget to book your free place at the Apprenticeship Graduation Ceremony 2024! 🎓

The evening event on Thursday 21 November 2024, between 6:00pm and 8:00pm, will acknowledge the commitment and hard work of local apprentices of all ages and levels and across all sectors.

Tickets are free, but you must book a place.

CLASS+ Parent and Carer Support Sessions

CLASS+

CLASS+ (Communication, Learning and Autism Support Service) offer sessions for parents and carers of an autistic child or a child who is on the autism pathway.

Sessions allow you to listen, share questions, ideas and experiences with other parents and carers. ☕

The East Sussex Local Offer website provides all upcoming dates and times for CLASS+ sessions.

You do not need to book to attend these events, you can just turn up. Do not worry if you cannot get there for the start of the session. You can drop in at any time!

East Sussex i-go Leisure Discount Card

East Sussex i-go

i-go is a register and FREE leisure discount card. 🎟️

The card is for people 0-25 years old with additional needs living or studying in East Sussex. This could include learning, physical, or social, emotional and mental health needs. A diagnosis is not always necessary.
