Congratulations to everybody who took part in the Summer Reading Challenge! This summer 6935 children challenged themselves to read six books.
Throughout East Sussex young people have visited the library and participated in dance duets, Lego workshops, archery and fencing! If you haven’t collected your prizes yet there is still time, just pop in to your local library.
If you wanted your child to receive their certificate in school, then log in to their library account and fill in the details.
Libraries Week takes place in October and is an annual showcase and celebration of the best that the nation’s much-loved libraries have to offer, and the central role they play in supporting life-long learning.
To celebrate we have lots of events including poet Henry Normal, thriller writer Elly Griffith and children’s author Jenny McLachlan introduces us to the Stink Fairy!
Do your primary school aged children need help with their homework? We have Homework and Activity Clubs with support from our trained volunteers. There is a fun activity at the end of each session, including Lego challenges, coding games, craft and more.
We have partnered with the British Library Business & Intellectual Property Centre and Brighton & Hove at Brighton Jubilee Library to offer online business resources, network events and one-to-one expert advice.
Whether you are just starting out or are ready to take the next step in your journey, we are here to help.
We have a range of different platforms with exclusive content. So in addition to Libby, and Borrowbox, to give you the best range of titles, including The Kingdom by Jo Nesbø, we present uLibrary, our newest audiobook provider.
The wonderful thing about uLibrary is all the books are always available, so you can read with friends, or as part of your book group.
