 Across East Sussex, local groups and organisations are providing activities and support to assist our Ukrainian guests in getting to know their local community.
There are lots of groups and organisations working together to offer support to guests and hosts throughout East Sussex. Support varies between organisations, but they work together alongside the Voluntary Actions and Community Hubs. Below is information around this support and how you can access it.
We would like to make you aware of support that is available to you if you are a host on the Homes for Ukraine scheme.
If you struggle to meet the online demands of HfU or feel you could benefit from assistance, please consider accessing this support. Challenges may come in the form of completing online forms, requests and navigating necessary information.
ITforYou offers volunteer led IT sessions in libraries. Sessions currently run at Battle, Bexhill, Crowborough, Eastbourne, Hailsham, Hampden Park, Hastings, Heathfield, Hollington, Lewes, Newhaven, Rye, Seaford and Uckfield Libraries. Coming soon to Peacehaven.
People can book online or phone 01323 463759 to make an appointment. When booking, all you need to do is state what you need help with.

Please remember that we ask all hosts to update our online form twice only.
First - When you give us details of everyone aged 16 or over in your household so we can carry out safety checks
Second - please use the form to tell us when your guests arrive. This will help us speed up payments and services that are due.
