Students are being invited to improve their career options by logging on to an online event next month. What Next Sussex will offer students, teachers and parents the chance to find out about the options available from across Sussex and get an insight in to industries and sectors where the greatest career opportunities are available. Funding confirmed for bus improvements
More than £41 million of vital funding to help improve bus services across the county has been confirmed. East Sussex County Council has received confirmation from Government that it will receive the money to implement its Bus Service Improvement Plan (BSIP) – proposals to help the council and bus operators improve services and increase the use of public transport. Celebrating work experience programme success
Pupils from 32 schools across East Sussex have been given an insight into the world of work thanks to the council’s work experience scheme. Coordinated by East Sussex County Council’s Work Experience Team, the initiative offers workplace opportunities to students aged 14 to 18. Find out how your business can get involved.
