A Level 2 Heat Wave Alert has been issued for the Southeast between 1200 Tuesday 9^th August till 0900 Friday 12^th August 2022 with a 60% probability of heatwave conditions.

We kindly ask providers to advise and guide clients to keep cool and hydrated, and alert any causes for concern to Adult Social Care. Please refer to the following government guidance:

• Supporting vulnerable people before and during a heatwave: for care home managers and staff.
• Please also ensure Business Continuity Plans have recently been reviewed and implemented.

The alert has been issued to last until 0900 Friday 12^th August.
