Summer makeover for Sussex roads
East Sussex Highways will treat 28 miles of rural and urban roads across the county. Roads due to get a new lease of life include those in Battle, Bexhill, Crowborough, Eastbourne, Hastings, Horam, Mayfield, Ringmer, Wadhurst and Wivelsfield, and cover an area of approximately 268,000 square metres. An innovative education website has been launched for the Gypsy Roma Traveller (GRT) Community and teaching professionals. Believed to be the first website of its kind, The Stopping Place has been developed to encourage a greater understanding of school life and help families access the support they may need.
