Get ready for the Gadgeteers, arriving in your local library this summer!
Join the Gadgeteers for the Summer Reading Challenge to discover the amazing science and innovation in the world.
We have teamed up with The Reading Agency and The Science Museum to challenge primary school children to read six library books over the summer holidays. As they read, children collect stickers and prizes, and after reading six books they earn a certificate and medal.
Children can read any library book they want, including: eBooks; audiobooks; comic books and even eMagazines. A shared story with a friend or family member also counts towards the challenge. The challenge starts on 9 July, our website has more information, including joining the challenge, book suggestions and forthcoming summer events.
The Summer Reading Challenge is open to all children, free of charge.
