From Thursday we are reopening all our 17 libraries.  Find the library opening times here.

You can visit the library to browse books, or if you prefer, we have a Reservation or Select and Collect service, where you can collect your books from the entrance.

To make use of the computers in our libraries please book online or by calling 0345 60 80 190.

So that we can do all these things safely customers entering the building will need to provide NHS Test and Trace information, wear a face covering - unless exempt - and use hand sanitiser.

Everyone Is A Hero with the Mini Winter Challenge!

The Winter Mini Challenge, delivered by The Reading Agency encourages children to keep up their reading habits over the winter holidays, with a free-to-access website (available all year round).

Children can visit the Winter Mini Challenge website, start rating and reviewing their books, enjoying fun online activities and an exciting competition.

To take part, children simply set themselves a reading goal (three books recommended) and then read any books of their choice. You can find plenty of great books by searching the library catalogue.  Every time they finish a book, they add it to their Challenge website profile and leave a short book review.

Reaching their online reading goal will unlock a virtual badge and a special Everyone Is A Hero certificate to print off and keep!

The Winter Mini Challenge starts 1^st  December 2020 and finishes on the 15^th January 2021.
