 Looking for a way to entertain the kids (and yourselves) over the school holidays? We have complied a list of various family-friendly activities and all the Easter egg hunts you could ever need!

 With ‘Who Do You Think You Are?’ notching up its 15th series this year, it’s clear we can’t get enough of genealogy.
But researching your own family tree without a team of TV researchers can be a bit daunting. It’s more a case of Where Do You Start? But did you know that there are lots of local resources that can help?

 We’re looking for people across East Sussex with an interest in education to become a school governor.
School governors help improve the education of young people in their local community, and at the same time benefit from working alongside a team of professionals.
You don’t have to be a parent, no formal qualifications are needed, and support and training is provided. We spoke to Alison, a school governor in Lewes, about what's involved: "I'm a school governor".

 If you're a community group, school, college or not-for-profit, you can
apply for a share of a £50,000 Active Access for Growth (AAfG) Community Fund.
The East Sussex County Council community fund is part of the AAfG programme which promotes healthy active travel
in East Sussex. It received funding from the Department for Transport access
Fund following a successful bid from East Sussex County Council.
If you'd like to apply, you'll need to show how the project will be supporting local economic growth and
boosting physical activity.
Applications must be submitted by 1 May 2018. For more
