It has
been a long winter, but spring has sprung and our 2017 season is about to
start!
We are
now taking windsurf and sailing club and storage membership subscriptions and
renewals for 2017. Please have a look at the website for details about costs and the offer this season. We have a fun packed season
ahead of us, with Team 15 windsurfing and Onboard sailing club racing regattas
through the season. Adult and student members will have the opportunity to
participate in Sunday clinics on set dates; have a look at the members pages for details. Those members renewing will also be able to renew
online without having to fill in yet another paper form. Hurrah I hear you cry!
To do this, please click through to the booking portal, or go to the website and click any 'book
now' button, you can then log in at the top of the page. You will be able to
manage your profile and add memberships once the current subscription runs out.
Or you can come in and renew in person.
Our first
weekend of sessions will be on the 1st April for Juniors and 2nd April for
adults , and a season launch event will be held on the 8th at
the Eastbourne centre 10:00-13:00, with fun and games on and off the water.

Our new online booking system is up and running!
You can now book our courses, sessions, members sessions and upgrade and manage your bookings online! With our mobile friendly website and booking portal you can create a profile, book and manage your sessions online! Please visit the website and log in to create a profile. Once there you can see what you have booked, keep your details updated, and most importantly we can stay in touch!

IF you visited the centre last year you may have been asked for your feedback on the facility. We have taken all the points raised and changed the layout of the storage areas to make it more user friendly. We have also been lucky enough to receive funding from ESCC, and the Veolia Environmental Trust to bring our Cuckmere facility up to a modern standard, by- Refurbishing the changing facilities, reception and training room. This modernises the facility with more space for changing, cubicle showers and a fresh new look. enabling us to make the most of the beautiful Country park! Works are ongoing but are expected to be completed by opening weekend of the 1 and 2nd April. |

SUP and Social returns for 2017. With the success of the club in 2016 we have decided to run on and offer this club on Thursday evenings from 20 April to the 14 September on a Thursday evening from 1830-2030, and 1 April to the end of October on a Saturday afternoon from 1400-1600. Taster sessions can be pre booked for £20 during these times, and paddling in company, fun racing and general SUP on the meanders from £15 per person.SUP Yoga, Pilates and Fitness sessions are available on Wednesday. |

We will be adding a season pass to our offer for general paddling at the Cuckmere centre, whether you would like a SUP or a Sit on top kayak, we will be able to get you on the meanders six and a half days a week!
Hire from £10 an hour is available, or you can purchase a season pass to make the most of the year! We will have a range of SUPS this year from Neptune, Red and O'shea. Sit on top kayaks from Feel free and Perception. Passes cost £150 per person and can be bought at the Cuckmere site.

We have revamped our summer programme and have changed our course structures to make it easier for parents, and give our clients more time on the water!
Our Stage 1 sail and windsurf courses now start 0930 until 1400, running on Monday and Tuesday every week in the holidays. Stage 2 and 3 courses will run Wednesday to Friday each week. Our fun course and adventure weeks have been overhauled. We now have multi activity taster sessions on a Friday at Eastbourne, SUP'er Friday tasters at the Cuckmere, as well as British Canoeing 'Paddle Power' kayaking courses running. At the Eastbourne site we have 8 new laser 'Pico' dinghies, complementing our fleet of 16. We will have new Ezzy 'Legacy' sails from 4.2 to 6.5 meters for our intermediate and advanced windsurfers. Our principle safety craft, call sign 'Zephyr' is also being replaced and we are expecting a delivery of our new 5.7m XS Rib by the end of April. This will bring a fresh new look to our powerboat and safety boat courses, as well as a robust and custom craft for safety cover and race training support.
At our Cuckmere site we will have an extended fleet of SUP boards from Neptune Red and O'shea, we will have more boards available and our XL SUP too!
A larger fleet of sit on top kayaks will be available for use by Special Educational Needs groups and for general use by all clients.These sit on top craft have been generously donated to us by Eastbourne Round table and 41 clubs.
