Council Tax Support Scheme
We're reviewing our Council Tax Support Scheme and asking for views on the proposed changes.
Council Tax Support is there to help people on low incomes pay their council tax.
We're thinking about changing the scheme for working-age customers only, and we want to know their thoughts before a decision is made. These proposals don't affect pension-age customers.
Please consider sharing the survey with our residents.

Suggest scrutiny topics for the 2027/28 municipal year
Our overview and scrutiny committees would like to hear from you. The team would like you to suggest a topic for scrutiny as part of the 2027/28 municipal year. Topics must be of a strategic nature that affect the whole of the East Riding.
Overview and scrutiny does not deal with individual queries, concerns or complaints and cannot get involved in planning applications.
If you would like to put forward a suggestion, please complete this smart survey by Monday, 7 December 2026.
Please suggest one topic per proforma and ensure that you list the reasons why the topic should be considered by the team. Topics will be considered by the individual committees/sub-committees at their work setting workshops in January and February 2027.
