October is Domestic Abuse Awareness Month
Domestic Abuse Awareness Month is a campaign that aims to raise awareness, support survivors and encourage change.
This year's campaign message is Spot the Signs, Start the Conversation.
Throughout the month, officers from our Domestic Violence and Abuse Partnership (DVAP) service will host information stands to raise awareness about domestic violence, and support available.
We'll also be sharing content on our social media channels to help people recognise the signs of domestic abuse, understand how to respond, and access available support.

 Council Tax Support Scheme
We're reviewing our Council Tax Support Scheme and asking for views on the proposed changes.
Council Tax Support is there to help people on low incomes pay their council tax.
We're thinking about changing the scheme for working-age customers only, and we want to know their thoughts before a decision is made. These proposals don't affect pension-age customers.
Please consider sharing the survey with our residents.
