In this summer newsletter, we have top tips for keeping babies safer in the heat and during times when they are out of their routines, such as going on holiday.
We also provide water safety guidance and remind parents to always supervise children, whether it is bath time, splash time, or time for cooling off in a swimming pool or the sea.
You'll also find information about online safety, road safety, private fostering, young carers and much more. Have a great summer, and we hope you will share these resources with other practitioners, families and young people.

We are providing two bitesize briefs containing concise summaries of the national learning from cases that have featured in the news.
These are available as learning modules on the LMS and feature a short recording, transcript of summaries of the information, and a selection of practice questions designed to help you reflect on the learning within your teams.

The ERSCP contributed to the learning offer during this year's Safeguarding week (15 - 19 June).
We were involved in a number of learning sessions, with significant reach across the region.
We would like to thank everyone for their continued engagement and enthusiasm when accessing the offers during our annual Safeguarding Week. Without our facilitators and delegates, it would not be a success, and the awareness gained would not be as great.

As the summer holidays approach, time spent online by our young people is inevitable.
Now is the ideal time for parents and carers to review their family settings for online devices around the home to ensure that they are fully up to date, with security and safety measures in place.

To break the cycle of exploitation and abuse, we must target those responsible. By using creative approaches and making the most of the available legislation, we can ensure perpetrators receive appropriate sentences for their crimes while helping prevent them from targeting children and young people in the future.
If you work with children and young adults who are experiencing or at risk of exploitation and abuse, you have a crucial role to play in disrupting their exploitation and stopping the perpetrators who are responsible.

We have a number of resources and top tips for teens to use to help keep themselves safe.
Teenagers have the right to be safe and happy no matter their age or location. It is important to remind teenagers that they are responsible for their own safety, so the decisions they make are really important.
While they have the freedom of choice, they do not have freedom from consequences.
