Share your views on our Children’s Centres and Family Hubs
 We would like to hear from you about Children’s Centres and Family Hubs and the support they provide. The consultation has launched to understand which centres families are using, the support and activities they use and where improvements to the offer can be made. The consultation also asks about a proposal to use community venues, such as schools and church halls, to deliver some of the services.
Polling districts and polling places review survey
 We are conducting a review of polling districts and polling places in accordance with the Electoral Registration and Administration Act of 2013. The aim of the review is to ensure the current polling districts and stations are appropriate for the areas that they cover, that all electors have reasonable and practicable facilities for voting and that, as far as is reasonable and practicable, polling places are accessible to all electors, including those who are disabled.
Inmans Primary recieve Healthy School Award
 Inmans Primary School in Hedon is the latest school to achieve the Healthy School Award. The award demonstrates the school’s commitment to helping raise healthy, happy children, through good health and wellbeing practice. Schools have the advice and expertise of our public health team to help them implement and deliver elements of the scheme, including healthy eating options, oral health, physical activity, mindfulness and mental health.
Withernsea seafront development complete
 The seafront development scheme in Withernsea is now complete, including the installation of new beach huts on the promenade, modern micro-kiosks in Valley Gardens, in addition to improvements to the boat compound and shared cycle path at the north end of the promenade. The project has been designed to enhance the visitor experience while supporting local enterprise, blending contemporary design with the town’s traditional seaside character.
New bowling alley installed at East Riding Leisure Goole
 A landmark moment has been achieved in the last two weeks, as the bowling alley has now been installed at East Riding Leisure Goole. A specialist team from Hungary came to site to install all of the equipment and has transformed the space in a matter of days to a fully working six lane bowling alley.
