 Caddy liner collection points needed
Great progress has been made in rolling out weekly food waste collections for residents, and is on track for completion by February 2027.
With more food waste recycling activity comes increased demand for free replacement liners for kitchen caddies. We are looking to increase the number of local collection points where residents can pick up free compostable caddy liners.
Currently, residents can collect their free liners from:
- customer service centres
- libraries and mobile centres
- leisure centres
- household waste recycling sites
- adult learning centres.
If you have any suggestions for additional locations in your communities that would be willing to act as caddy liner collection points, please email recycling@eastriding.gov.uk. Examples of these locations could be community halls, parish offices, churches, schools, post offices, or village shops.

 Resident Engagement Survey
Can you spare five minutes to help shape our business plan? As part of our engagement programme with residents, we want your views on which services you think are most important for the East Riding. So, whether it’s maintaining roads, providing affordable housing, supporting businesses to invest, supporting vulnerable children or any of the hundreds of other services we provide, your feedback will help to inform the development of our business plan so we can better understand your needs.
Town and parish councils are asked to promote the survey within their communities and encourage residents to complete it.
