Pledge to care experienced young people launches
 Along with partner organisations and care experienced young people, we have launched a Pledge to all children and young people in care, and care leavers, during National Care Leavers month.
Fly-tipping cameras installed

Earlier this year we installed CCTV cameras that use AI technology. They have been installed at hotspots across the East Riding to help tackle fly-tipping. The cameras have been installed on a trial basis, any footage will be fully investigated and used in evidence against those responsible.
Virtual School Awards celebrate achievements of care experienced young people
 Care experienced young people were celebrated at a Virtual School celebration event, involving over 170 young people, their guests and professionals who support them. Awards highlighted the achievements the young people have made, and each award was sponsored by a local organisation or benefactor.
Community transport event in Bridlington
 Could you be a volunteer driver in the Bridlington area? If so there is a recruitment event for those interested in becoming a volunteer driver for community transport on Friday, 21 November from 10am in the South Shore car park in Bridlington.
New Countryside Code panel installed at Humber Bridge Country Park

The panel was designed by notable local artist Eleanor Tomlinson, best known for her sketch of Queen Elizabeth II with Paddington Bear. The panel features a dog called Bramble who follows in the footsteps of Shaun the Sheep, who has been promoting the code nationally for several years.
East Riding Leisure launches ‘Merry Fitness’ promotion
 From Monday, 17 November to Wednesday, 31 December, East Riding Leisure is spreading festive cheer with its Merry Fitness promotion, offering savings across all membership options. Every membership purchased during the promotion includes a one-week free pass to share with a friend or family member.
