We are investing £196,000 to upgrade Seavy Road in Goole, between the junctions of Anderson Road and Grange Road. The work is scheduled to take place during daytime hours, starting on Monday, 3 November, and is expected to take up to six weeks to complete. Access to properties within the area will be maintained at all times.

Funding available for coastal education in schools
Maintained schools in the East Riding can apply for up to £2,500 per academic year to help pupils explore and understand our changing coastline. The new fund supports fieldwork and sustainable coastal management, helping young people connect with local environmental challenges. It is part of the Changing Coasts East Riding programme, funded by the Department for Food and Rural Affairs.

The government is offering a grant of £7,500 to help cover the cost of heat pump installation.
Heat pumps are three times more energy efficient than traditional boilers, meaning they'll reduce a home’s carbon footprint, because they run on electricity, there's potential to make bill savings too.
