Do you have old electrical items? Take them to one of our 10 household waste and recycling sites. Batteries, and anything with a plug or that needs charging can be recycled at one of our sites and, in some cases, can find a second life in one of our re-use shops. It can be dangerous if any of these items are placed in blue or green bins. When crushed in refuse lorries, they can ignite and cause a fire.
