£170,000 scheme to improve road in Anlaby
 Essential road maintenance is scheduled to start on Monday, 18 August in Woodland Drive, Anlaby.
The project will involve resurfacing the road and installing new drainage channels and kerbs to improve surface water drainage.
In order to carry out the work, Woodland Drive will first be closed to through traffic for three days from Monday 18 to Wednesday 20 August between 8am and 5pm.
Barnardo’s Bumble B sessions offer children with SEND fun activities this summer
 Barnardo’s runs SEND groups for children and young people aged 5–11 and 12–18 in the East Riding. Each Saturday, 10 inclusive sessions take place across six locations in Beverley, Bridlington, Cottingham, Goole, Hedon, and Market Weighton. These sessions offer a variety of activities including games, arts and crafts, sports, music, drama, and opportunities to have fun and make friends.
East Riding sports association join White Ribbon campaign to tackle violence against women and girls
 The East Riding County Football Association have obtained White Ribbon accreditation, signing up to the campaign to prevent violence against women and girls in the East Riding.
Challenging violence and abuse against women and girls represent both a safeguarding and inclusion commitments which are at the heart of the core values and culture of East Riding County FA.
