Bauble Town

She Productions is delighted to offer a SEND performance of Bauble Town on 21st December, 2.30pm at Beverley Library.

This production is 'accessible by design' with acoustic sound, natural lighting and a relaxed setting. A pre-show Touch Tour will introduce sensory elements of the show.

Access and facilities for wheelchair users are available, plus a quiet break out space. We will send our 'What To Expect' Guide which includes a social story to all customers prior to the performance.

This December, bring the whole family to experience ‘Bauble Town’, an enchanting new musical full of laughter, puppets, and Christmas magic, touring East Riding libraries and community venues!

It’s Christmas Week and Bauble Town is buzzing as the baubles wait to be chosen by a new family to take their place of honour on the Christmas tree. Bob, the most unassuming bauble on the shelf, is in for a surprise when he’s picked by little Fiona Fig!

Will Bob fit in with the other ornaments? Can he discover the true meaning of ‘family’ as he embarks on an unforgettable adventure to Fiona’s two houses?

This show is accessible to all featuring live acoustic music, integrated Makaton, natural lighting, and a relaxed environment.

Beverley Minster - Christmas Tree Festival  Quiet Sessions at the Christmas Tree Festival are being held again this year. The festival itself runs from Wednesday 4th - Sunday 8th December. The Quiet Sessions will be take place at 9am on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday for an hour, when no music will be playing and the place should be relatively calm. This year is yet again our biggest festival to date with 150 trees packing into the Minster. We also believe it is the biggest Christmas Tree Festival (using real fir trees) in the country! From angels to alpacas, toothpaste to tools and robins to recycled rubbish, each tree will be uniquely decorated by a local community group, charity, school or business. It is a real community collaboration and celebration. We hope everyone will get a chance to come along. Pocklington Arts Centre Coming up, we have a special relaxed performance of our festive show, Jack Frost’s Christmas Wish, on 15 December at 10.30am. This performance will include BSL interpretation as well as house lights (rather than dark), a relaxed attitude to involuntary sounds and moving around the auditorium during the performance and we will have a quiet break out space available. Shetland Pony and Friends Animal Therapy

Brief Description: We offer animal-assisted therapy sessions for children and adults aged 2-18+, focusing on building confidence, emotional regulation, and social skills through interaction with friendly ponies in a supportive outdoor environment.

Dates: Ongoing sessions available

Times: Sessions start from 09.30 a.m.
Cost: £40 per one-to-one session, £20 per child for regular sessions (Groups of 2 – 8)

FREE festive digital sensory show Phoebe's Festive Favourites!

The show is designed specifically for children with additional or complex needs and life-limiting illnesses to enjoy at home, in school, in hospice and hospital, or wherever they feel most comfortable. Aiming to provide meaningful accessible festive entertainment to all this Christmas by creating opportunities for memory making, silliness, engagement, communication and connection.
