SENDIASS Service User and Non Service User Survey reminder
This is a polite reminder that we are trying to reach as many children, young people and their families to complete a survey, please see more information below:
We are conducting a review of the East Riding Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Information Advice and Support Service (East Riding SENDIASS) and we would like to hear about your experience of their service as part of the review.
East Riding SENDIASS offer confidential and impartial Special Education Needs and Disability Information, Advice and Support.
The current SLA is due to end in 2025 and therefore it is crucial to capture the perspectives of parents, carers, children, and young people. We would like to ensure that everyone's voices are heard and considered. By participating in this survey, you'll have the opportunity to share your valuable insights and help to shape the future of the service.
Please note that schools will be asked to participate in a further consultation to be launched in the coming weeks which will help formulate a new five year SEND and Inclusion strategy. This survey “The Big Listen” – will contribute to the formulation of a Local Authority SEND and Inclusion Strategy, which will help shape the future for SEND and Inclusion, within East Riding, over the next 5 years.
