March update
Preparation work for the A164/Jock's Lodge improvement scheme continues.
 Preparation work for the A164/Jock’s Lodge improvement scheme continues with site clearance works and the installation of permanent and temporary boundary fencing.
The main site office has been set up and will provide the contactor GRAHAM with a base for the duration of the project. Works have also started to create a second compound which will provide additional offices.

Earthworks are still on schedule to start in spring. The earthworks must be carried out during the dry months of the year to avoid disruption caused by bad weather.

Upcoming works
 A164 - road closures
The A164 will be closed overnight on Thursday 7 March and Friday 8 March from 8pm to 6am. These road closures are necessary to improve the road surface for drivers from the Skidby roundabout to the Jock’s Lodge junction.
Other works
As mitigation against the site clearance, bird boxes will be installed creating spaces for birds to nest. Further details will follow in future newsletters.

Other works will include installation of utilities, including water, electricity, and sewage disposal.
