Did you know that a parent can run a search for a childcare provider via our Families Service Directory?
We have recently conducted an audit and noticed a number of providers that are not visible to parents when they are conducting an online childcare search.
In order for a provider to be visible via our online search consent must be given FISH for these details to be published.
There is no obligation for a provider to be visible via our online search. But to maximise the childcare options available to parents we would advise providers conduct a search themselves to check their visibility via the below link: Online Childcare Search
Should a provider not be listed, and you wish to be (or if you would like FISH to double check.) Please contact us so we can provide a survey/consent form if required.
Out of School Care
If a provider also operates a separate out of school provision alongside their standard day care offer, for parents to be able to locate this information separately via the online search please contact us so we can provide a survey/consent form to make this provisions information available.
Updating available Information for Parents
Providers who are already visible online have the option to display information regarding their provision in their listing e.g. Availability, Drop off/Pick up service, Pricing, an overview paragraph describing their service.
To ensure parents are provided with the most up to date information, we would also advise that providers check their existing directory listing and regularly update this information.
This information can be updated at any time via the “Information to help parents” form on the Ehub. Fields such as pricing are not mandatory and can be left blank if required.
