Nothing About us Without Us – Children and Young People’s Engagement and Co-production Event
Are you a young person (aged 25 or under) or a professional leading on engagement and co-production with children and young people in Hull, East Riding, North Yorkshire, Vale of York, North Lincolnshire and North East Lincolnshire? Why not join an event to help launch and start co-producing a Young People’s Mental Health Advisory Group and a network of engagement and involvement leads. Food and refreshments will be provided.

Kids Participation Collective
Give young people a chance to have a say on national topics and share views with those who need to her them.
Who can join?
- Young people aged 13 – 25
- Have a Special Educational Need and/or Disability (SEND)
When?
- First Saturday of every other month from 10 to 11am

Early Years Support
Early Years Support are experiencing an increase in requests being submitted for discussion.
Requests are currently being discussed within 10 weeks of submission to Early Years Support.
What can I do whilst waiting for my request to be discussed by the team?
Submit any new information, for example implementing a termly support plan, updating the ages and stages questionnaire to eyst@eastriding.gov.uk to support your request
Consider making a request for service to the children's centre for Bookstart / Talktime if appropriate
Undertake the speech and language therapy checklist / make a referral to Speech and Language therapy if appropriate
Early Years setting practitioners can contact their Area SENCO for support/advice.

Life Skills Hub Christmas Activities 2022
Can you answer yes to these 3 questions?
- Are you between 4 and 16 years old?

If so, we have some Free festive fun planned at Life Skills Hub, Cottingham and you are invited. All sessions need to be booked in advance. Sessions include Music, Art, Yoga, Cookery, Sport, Aromatherapy, Nature Walks

NEW – SENsory Storytime
Explore books, games and crafts in a sensory friendly setting. Our new SENsory storytime sessions are designed for children aged 3-8 who may struggle to sit through our other storytime sessions.
