Bins, Bins, Bins, some things you should know about our bins

All commercial premises produce at least some waste, which is why all commercial premises should have something suitable to store this waste in, from the humble sack to the majestic 1280 litre bin, they are all designed with one thing mind, to store waste and provide an easy method to dispose of waste.

Bins do come in various shapes and sizes; they can be emptied at varying frequencies and there is always a solution to getting the right result for your commercial waste storage and disposal.

Did you know for many businesses waste disposal is the second largest outlay after energy costs, so investing a little time in getting the right bins for your needs, budget and location is time well spent as it can ensure this large expense remains cost effective.

SIZES

Our bins come in various sizes from the bin we all know at home the 240 to the large 1100s & 1280s seen in at many businesses across the East Riding. These big bins can hold up to 21 full sacks of waste.

TOUGH AS OLD BOOTS

We mostly provide bins that are made of HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) - or plastic to most of us and metal. Both types are extremely durable and can withstand a remarkable amount of rough handling during collections and bad weather alongside many corrosive elements that can sometimes be produced by general waste.

LONG LIFE  

They are designed to have a long life – up to 10 years, longer in some cases, naturally there are many causes for reducing this life span but treat them well and they will serve you well.

RECYCLED and/or REUSED

All our used bins are recycled or reused. Reusing and refurbishing what we can plays that small part towards protecting our environment. But once a bin is no longer fit for purpose it will be recycled sometimes into brand new bins.

LOCKABLE

Many of our bins will be provided with locks, they are by no means infallible but are certainly a deterrent to passers-by
