Grant Spotlight
The Den is an inclusive youth theatre based in Bridlington and supported by East Riding of Yorkshire Council. The group’s members range in age from 7 through to 25 years and are of mixed abilities.
Charlotte Gray of The Den tells us, “The members choose their own characters, give ideas for scripts and they perform two shows a year. Where possible, they also take part in other performance opportunities. This November some of the members are involved in a production of 'A Christmas Carol' at Bridlington Spa on Sunday 20th November at 2pm. One of the members is in a principal role of the Ghost of Christmas Present and another is performing some Makaton signs in some of the songs.
|
“New members are always welcome to get involved with The Den. We meet on Tuesday evenings at the Spa in Bridlington and we run term time throughout the year. We also have some drama days in the holidays throughout the year and you can keep up to date with our activities on our Facebook page or contact us via email or phone.”
