There are lots of events and activities taking place throughout the year, celebrating every part of its 79 miles across the stunning Yorkshire Wolds landscape, between Hessle on the Humber Foreshore and Filey Brigg on the Yorkshire coast.

The Walking East Yorkshire Festival proudly announces the release of two four day walking adventures available to BOOK NOW. In celebration of our stunning walking scenery around the rolling hills and dry valleys and of the Yorkshire Wolds we invite you to join us to conquer two established long distance walking routes for our 2022 festival. Both events – The Chalkland Way and the Wolds Ranger Way will take place between Saturday and Tuesday within the festival dates. A great way to spend four sociable days with like minded walkers in breath-taking countryside.

REYTAs Re-launched!

Awards that reward the region’s best, brightest, most successful, and innovative tourism businesses will return in 2022 and will continue to be a route to national recognition.

The 2022 Remarkable East Yorkshire Tourism Awards, the REYTAs, organised by tourism body Visit Hull and East Yorkshire (VHEY) culminating in an awards event in November 2022. This will see the return of the in-person awards evening following a successful virtual event in 2020 and a cancelled event in 2021. The REYTA’s had been postponed at the start of 2022 but will now return this November.

Now in their 12th year, the REYTAs, are being run in association with the national Visit England Awards for Excellence 2023 and eligible winners will be automatically put forward to the national VisitEngland Awards for Excellence 2023. Deadline Midnight Sunday 11th Sept.

Bridlington & East Coast Guide 2023

We are now working on a new guide for the coast, we will be printing 20,000 copies and distributing far and wide encouraging visitors to book and visit us in 2023.

Fabulous review in The Motorcaravan Club Magazine.

We recently hosted a 4 day visit to the area for the Out & About article in the Motorcaravan Club magazine, that goes out to all of it’s members. The article follows their visit across the county including a Yorkshire Wolds Way walk to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the National Trail, a visit to Beverley Minster and a trip on the Yorkshire Belle.
