0-25 SEND Team Pop-Up Pod Survey
We have had a fantastic response to our inaugural Pop-Up Pod events that have been taking place across the local authority. We are now seeking feedback from those who attended, and those who were unable to attend, so that we can plan our summer sessions. The responses from this short survey will allow us to plan our future events and we would really appreciate if you could take two minutes to respond.
The survey will be live until May 15 2022.
Endorphins youth groups - we are looking for feedback
East Riding of Yorkshire Council commissions Endorphins Group Ltd to run eight youth groups for children and young people aged 8 to 25 years with special educational needs and/or disabilities. Endorphins run youth groups each week on Saturdays during term time and there are holiday clubs during the school holidays. The groups are currently split into two age groups, ages 8 to 15 years and 16 to 25 years, East Riding of Yorkshire Council fund, alongside a parental contribution, 12 places at each session - that's 24 places per location per week.
There are youth groups in Beverley, Bridlington, Goole and Hedon. The two groups in Goole and Hedon are very quiet, despite lots of promotion, with very few young people (less than 10) attending out of 24 places available across the 2 sessions.
East Riding of Yorkshire Council would like to consult with service users and potential service users about the Goole and Hedon groups. We are looking for feedback to help us understand why we have low numbers of people attending these groups. The questions will help us to find out if the groups are best placed, if only one group is needed in that location (instead of two) or if days need to change. To take part, please follow the link to the survey below before 21 June 2022.
We would like to thank you in advance for taking 10mins to answer this short questionnaire. If you have any questions about the Consultation, please contact the Children's Commissioning and Quality Monitoring Team at: childrens.commissioning.team@eastriding.gov.uk.
